Lucy worked as PRINCE 2 Project Manager for HR mergers and a Systems analyst within the public sector for 12 years since graduating in 2002. Specialising in developing regional Major Crime and Hi Tech Crime solutions, Lucy received several commendations for her achievements and wrote the national policies for witness protection schemes which are still in place today.
In 2014 she chose to switch gear in her career and began working as a coach for long-term unemployed people as well as a professional CV writer for senior professionals. This led to the inspiration for Dalmatian, so she consequently spent 18 months researching the market need; along with her father and sister Katie who consequently co-founded the company in 2016.
Lucy describes herself as having a strong personality and wanted to create a powerhouse brand like Dalmatian which reflects that. In an industry that is saturated by a vast amount of contenders to dominate the market (none have managed it yet), Lucy is extremely motivated to keep pushing through those brick walls and expose Dalmatian as the ultimate trailblazer in this recruitment software.
