Overview of the role
The role of the HR Insights Analyst is critical to the success of analyzing our people data to inform and drive decision making and shape the future of Boots and HR. You will work with the Senior HRBPs, HR SLT and the Head of HR to scope and perform advanced analytics and predictive methods to measure People Performance, Churn, Capability, Leadership and other key indicators of interest to the business, whilst seeking insight to fuel business performance..
As an expert in data you will work to identify and share trends, patterns and relationships in People data that drive decision making and continuous improvement.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to advise on best data solutions.
Working with the HR Insight Manager, HR stakeholders and wider business stakeholders to understand business priorities and provide analysis which is relevant and timely that helps drive the Colleague strategy.
Develop Insight using new technologies and exploring new and innovative methods to inform the business and drive the agenda for improvement.
Delivers projects of work, challenges thinking, Interprets requirements and creates research plans to conduct a series of in-depth analyses to explore and test hypotheses.
Researches and applies industry standard best practice methods and KPIs to show how Boots compares and defines new KPIs where appropriate.
Communicates, summarizes and presents analysis, identifying current trends and key findings to non-analytically minded stakeholders, tailoring appropriately to different audiences.
Our Ideal Candidate
Maths A-level or higher
Understanding of statistics and data modelling
Able to present recommendations and solutions to stakeholders
Previous experience in Analytics Role
Experience in a similar role in HR would be highly desirable
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience using time management skills such as prioritising/organising and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion rates.
Experience analysing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Experience of programming languages such as SQL, R and Python.
Experience of advanced analytic programs such as Spotfire, Tableau, Aginity, Power BI, Qubz etc.
Familiar with methods and accustomed to analysing Big Data.
This is a 6 month secondment/fixed term opportunity
