Were looking for a commercially focused Divisional Director to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a business strategy that maximises the sales growth and performance within the assigned Division. Well look to you to build motivated and high performing teams through effective leadership and line management to retail teams. Youll ensure total satisfaction is delivered to our customers, in accordance with our commercial philosophy whilst driving KPIs to maximise divisional sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Youll be responsible for managing the performance of all Regional Managers within your Division to ensure theyre compliant with Company procedures and policies at all times Youll be committed to creating a truly individual and memorable customer experience through promoting brand behaviours Youll work with the Operations Director and Heads of Functions to influence the creation and communication of company strategy, business priorities and targets for the regional teams Youll ensure the retail operation complies with all policies and procedures Youll formulate forward thinking strategies for future retail activities Youll be translating strategic goals into retail operational plans through to relentless execution Youll ensure budgets are effectively managed to achieve sales plan and growth targets Youll spend 75 of your time in stores understanding, identifying and aligning operational tatics Youll work with the Head of HR to ensure the agreed People strategy is effectively executed within the Division Youll support Regional Managers to recruit, retain and develop their teams Youll proactively manage and review the performance of Regional Managers and their regions setting people and sales targets Youll take a lead role in building a strong management culture within the Regional Management Team through coaching, identifying skills and development opportunities Job Requirements Were looking for candidates who: Will have extensive business experience relevant multi-site remote leadership gained within a retail sector Be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy Have a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability, even in challenging market conditions Must be highly analytical and commercially sound with a good understanding of profit and loss accounting and budget skills A proven ability to influence key stakeholders Demonstrate excellent communication skills- verbal and written including report writing and group presentation Works effectively under pressure and able to deal with conflicting priorities Demonstrate excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and priorities effectively Strong IT skills including Microsoft office A self starter with a high level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact Solution orientated Credible, with integrity and discretion Due to the nature of this role were looking for candidates who are fully mobile to travel, holding a driving license is essential.
