Apply Now Experian is an Equal Opportunity Employer Including Disability/Veterans Job Number: 188551 Nottingham, United Kingdom Description A new opportunity has arisen within Experian Consumer Services Technology for a Technical Product Owner. This is an exciting role in our development team creating and supporting solutions for our partner deliveries, as well as our core platform. We have recently delivered a set of microservices in AWS and are forming a team to help our partners implement these within their own consumer-facing products. This is achieved within a business-wide Agile process, utilizing Scrum and Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery frameworks. Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Knowledge & Responsibilities Excellent knowledge of Agile development methodologies and development processes: SCRUM, TDD, CI, CD, and knowledge/experience of SAFe Collaborate effectively across the global product development community to support the full product lifecycle Communicate with stakeholder product and project teams to negotiate and establish requirements and priorities Write clear product requirements, user stories, manage the sprint backlog, and set sprint priorities Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood, properly estimated, and prioritized correctly Lead user acceptance testing sessions with stakeholders to ensure product design meets all requirements and acceptance criteria Behaviours Be passionate about building solutions adhering to the highest technical standards and focused on delivering value to our customers Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility around the products and services we deliver to customers Enjoy working with a team in a challenging environment where you succeed or fail together and continually push each other to improve Be an active participant in the procedural and social evolution of our team look for opportunities to add value, to bring the team together and champion improvements to our way of working Confident in networking and managing relationships across business and technical teams, both face-to-face and remotely Advantageous skills Agile delivery experience in a scaled agile environment (SAFe) Software development experience advantageous (especially back end) Quality assurance experience and understanding Experience with Amazon Web Services Understanding of Microservices Architecture Financial product development under FCA regulation Experience of writing high quality User Stories to INVEST principles Qualifications Ideally a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline however commensurate industry and technical experience are acceptable Ideally a Product Owner Certification such as CSPO, PSPO
