As an Account Assistant for Over the Counter (OTC) Healthcare, you will be absolutely key to achieving this goal. Youll work to support the Account Team in partnering with the buying teams to co-create commercial strategies and business plans that will deliver strong short- and long-term growth for both the category and Boots Own Brand.
Its an amazing opportunity to learn about and gain key commercial skills in a team that owns the product journey from concept to delivery with the consumer at the forefront of everything we do. Its also a great opportunity to learn more about our OTC Health categories within the Healthcare team.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Account Team within Global Brands, working alongside the Boots UK trading team, forging highly productive relationships with your key contacts and championing the needs of your trading team within the Boots Own Brand business
Providing full administrative support to the Account Executives and the Account Manager, which will include running weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports on the category performance
Being the key contact for stores and other central functions for product queries and sample requests for any marketing or promotional activity.
Being the key contact for the Boots.com team to ensure our website remains up to date with our portfolio.
Conducting any competitor analysis by visiting our competitors on a regular basis.
Owning the understanding of market-share performance.
Supporting on generating an understanding of market share performance & drivers within the account function.
Supporting with on-line reporting & management of online seasonal plan.
Supporting with range analysis & presentation preparation.
This role is based in Nottingham- keeping your finger on the retail pulse is vital though, so youll be out and about conducting market visits occasionally
A bit about you
A-level or equivalent or GCSE A-C in English, Maths, Science and / or Business
Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential.
Computer literate and proficient in working with Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel.
You should be numerate, have great attention to detail whilst working within a process framework.
Work experience in commercial, buying or business environments is seen as advantageous.
Be a team player use your own initiative, work to deadlines and able to prioritise workload.
The successful candidate will need to be capable of building strong relationships and be comfortable working with the challenge of a changing environment and supporting a diverse team.
Multi-tasking and flexibility are a requisite for this position.
