Volunteer County and City Licensing Administrator
Nottinghamshire Police, Citizens in Policing Department have an exciting recruitment opportunity for two Admin Support Volunteers. One volunteer will be based at Mansfield Police station working under County Licensing and the other to be based at Byron House in Notts City Centre under City Licensing.
The successful candidates will be fully trained on the Innkeeper System and assist with telephone enquiries from local authorities such as courts, licensing solicitors and applicants relating to licensing issues. The role involves sending out Pubwatch Banning letters as well as creating introduction letters to send out to licensees. Maintaining/ updating systems as well minute taking for meetings and using your own initiative to prioritise tasks.
You must be familiar in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and general IT skills. Extra training will be given in the use of internal force systems. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work as part of a small team along with a can do attitude. Ability to prioritise workload is essential, commitment and flexibility towards tasks.
Commitment to 3-4 hours per week is essential.
