An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the No7 Trading team as an Assistant Trading Manager.
Working as part of Global Brands, you will be uniquely placed within Walgreens Boots Alliance to drive the No7 brand through the combination of a great brand and innovative product. In Global Brands we deliver results grounded in the deepest consumer and customer truths through the most talented and passionate team.
As an Assistant Trading Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management and tracking of the commercial plan for No7 in Boots UK, coordinating WBA resources to ensure we deliver great service and execution and ultimately deliver our financial targets. You will be the go to person for day to day information on the plan and inform others in a timely way to raise issues / recommend action where required. You will provide great analysis of our commercial activity and tracking of our results, you will translate this data and recommend actions aimed at strengthening the brand and commercial plan.
You will contribute to the development of our commercial plan and, when agreed, be a key owner of the plan. You will understand the end to end product marketing process, and support the trading manager in developing businesses cases, ensuring performance accuracy and rigour exists in your approach. You will support the development of best practice in launch planning and demonstrate good skills in shopper marketing. You will have a strong network of store and field relationship enabling you to build a better understanding on how our commercial plans meet with the customer experience, and use these insights along with commercial analysis to continuously enhance the plan.
You will support the trading manager in playing a central role being a key conduit between Brand Marketing, Product, In-store Marketing, Merchandising and Supply along with a number of BUK functions, you will champion excellence in execution, delivering outstanding service to BUK. Your ability to manage multiple projects at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix.
You own the plan: day to day management and tracking to deliver financial targets
You demonstrate excellence in execution and ongoing analysis of the plan to improve commercial return.
You own the KPIs to deliver great service to BUK and recommend action where required.
You have good understanding of the industry and the category using insight to improve commercial plans
You provide key information and analysis to help develop commercial strategy and implement strategic choices through prioritisation of activity.
You support the detailed laydown of all salesplan periods, including sign off by core functions to the plan (e.g. Brand Marketing, Supply)
You deliver the plan flawlessly and with a strong focus on operational excellence across all KPIs whilst adapting where needed as things change.We would love you to be part of the exciting No7 journey!
A Bit About You
You will possess a high level of commercial acumen, with the ability to translate and interrogate sales figures to create effective joint business plans
You can demonstrate the ability to stimulate profitable growth in market, and hit Sales, Gross Profit and AOI targets
Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships languages an advantage but not essential.
