Consumer Insights Analyst
Working in our insights and analytics team within Consumer Planning and Insight, you will be delivering strategic analytical insights and solutions for a wide range of partners across our global brands business to drive commercial advantage. We play a pivotal role as the analytics arm of the cross-functional Skincare team, and our unique team structure allows us to work collaboratively with other analysts, research and portfolio managers, and trend analysts to build holistic and compelling insights, putting our customers at the heart of the decision-making process.

Act as a key partner to our global brand and local activation teams, specifically supporting our Healthy and Natural Skincare brands including Liz Earle, YourGoodSkin and Botanics
Craft the future of our brands by providing customer focussed insights, and wider business and market context, including competitor trends and performance, through leveraging and synthesising various data sources
Provide strategic solutions to key business questions through bespoke analysis scope and manage projects and ad-hoc requests from responding to the brief, right through to impactful delivery of results and recommendations
Build a strong understanding of our brands customers through analysing and interpreting data, and turning this knowledge into actionable insight
Clearly and concisely present insight and recommendations to stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer be confident in presenting the What and developing the So what
Build and maintain effective relationships with key partners at all levels, ensuring a sound understanding of their analytical insight needs
With the support of the Consumer Insight Manager, you will drive personal growth through the development of business know-how, analytical tools and techniques
A bit about you Experience of analysing large and complex sets of data and exposure to a range of analytical tools and techniques
Experience of extracting and manipulating large data sets through SQL, R or similar querying and analytical tools
Exposure to external data sources and insight solutions such as Kantar, IRi, Euromonitor, and Hitwise would be advantageous
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to manipulate and visualise data in a compelling way
Ability to analyse data at a technical level whilst being able to confidently interpret and deliver findings to a non-technical or data-savvy audience whilst championing the voice of the customer
Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills ability to handle multiple tasks through managing priorities and workload
Excellent attention to detail with a Right First Time approach in order to deliver best in class outputs
Some experience of working within a retail business environment would be advantageous
