Our purchasing team are the super helpful experts who make sure our technical repair team has everything they need. As a Purchasing Assistant at the heart of the team, youll support Spares Purchasing Team. We can't wait to welcome you!
Place orders and manage the ordering, supply and return of spares.
Support the Buyers, Customer Account Manager and Technical Analysts in the day to day running of the department.
Ensure accurate information is provided to the business.
Process supplier exchange requests.
Order replacement phones as required to support the mobile exchange process.
Populate and create Bill of Materials.
Contact suppliers to improve supplier lead times.
Work with Goods In department to resolve problem orders.
Ensure data rigidity within the spares ordering system.
Monitor and act upon security/health and safety risks.
Skills and experience:
Strong Microsoft office skills
To be able to drive personal performance to support own development
The ability to allocate and efficiently manage own time
Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Experience of working in a Purchasing environment (Desirable)
Technical understanding of the workings of the products supported (Desirable)
