Global Product Manager Boots Brand Wellness (Footcare & Wellness Projects)
12 month Secondment/FTC
As a Product Manager in Boots Brand Wellness, you will be responsible for the product strategy and 3 year product pipeline for the $27m Boots Brand Footcare range, while leading a number of fast-moving, high profile wellness projects across a breadth of areas, including intimate health and food supplements.
You will be responsible for the delivery of these plans and the end to end product development, from creating compelling consumer led concepts to the finished product.

You will report to the Global Senior Product Manager
Youll be relentlessly passionate about products and your consumers, and will lead for deeply engrained product understanding across your cross functional team
You will work collaboratively with the Global Brand team & local commercial teams to build 3YPs & corresponding product strategies, owning the delivery of the product pipeline with cross functional teams.
You will need to be equally comfortable working within a stringently regulated medical environment (delivering medicinal or medical device classified treatment products) as you are exploring evolving proactive health space, looking at ways to bring the wellness movement to life within your range, opening up new penetration opportunities
You will take ownership of the end to end product development for your brands, from concept creation through to ensuring the on time delivery and sufficiency of the product plans
Youll be responsible for mapping market & category trends and opportunities, translating macro trends into micro product attributes across packaging, formulation, fragrance & design
You can demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing and production methods of the category. Your colleagues will look to you for your knowledge in our suppliers capabilities and assets
A bit about you
Are you passionate about products? Are you the they really should invent that one at the dinner table? Do you have experience distilling complexity into simple consumer messaging?
In addition to the above, the following skills are strongly sought in our Product Manager:
You must be able to demonstrate experience in end to end product development
Ideally, youd have experience navigating a tightly regulated environment, such as healthcare, to produce compelling consumer propositions
Youre articulate and write well this role involves copy writing, from pack copy writing & brand toolkit messaging to sell-in presentations
Youre passionate about good design you can talk articulately about pack message hierarchies, claims wording, iconography and colour, and have ideas about what youd do differently in healthcare space
You are relationship builder and have experience leading your own team or cross functional teams
You spot opportunities where others dont you can demonstrate your experience in doing this and executing on it
Youre passionate delivering good products quickly you challenge the status quo where necessary and thrive on fast delivery
