Senior Marketing Manager Retail Owned and Exclusive Brands
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you are responsible for leading the delivery of our ambitious growth plans for our owned and exclusive brands which includes for example Boots Own Brand, Ted Baker, Champneys, Mark Hill, MASQD & Soltan. This is an exciting time to join this team as we look at retail growth, building awareness and evolving our digital footprint.
This role is focused on leading the activation of our brands across our UK markets and you will be accountable for ensuring that our brands show up at their best in market, creating seamless activation across the retailer and market. We are looking for you to be a champion of the brand and its message to our consumers, leading both the short and long term visions for the brands in a way that maximises its value to the business. Through a true demonstration of collaborative working you will create a winning team who present best in class marketing and behaviours to their internal and external colleagues.
Lead and coach a team to build best in class retailer activation and mass personalisation for our brands.
Lead the development of local market Brand Integrated Activity plans, including development of local consumer goals
Collaborate with colleagues to gain local market & consumer insight for brand strategies, launch plans for innovation/NPD, toolkits and engagement decks delivered to cycle planning deadlines and robust M&E for all activities.
Development of local growth drivers, acting on M&E and based on global growth drivers where possible.
Develop and execute marketing communications activity plans (creative development/localisation, project management, commercial impact and measurement & evaluation)
Lead work with our agency partners to develop local communications plans, leading them to deliver on time, in budget, and with excellence
Optimise media planning to ensure robust plans but also to prove effectiveness of mass personalisation in play to win categories. A bit about you
Proven experience in retail or FMCG Marketing environment
Expertise in strategic and annual planning, marketing communications planning and activity execution
Commercial Acumen, to ensure an understanding of retail partners businesses
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
Excellent relationship management across network of brands and stakeholders (internal and external), and agency partners
