Job Number: 189352 Nottingham, United Kingdom Description We are recruiting for a Business Development Director to join the HD Decisions team. HD Decisions is an innovative, rapidly growing FinTech company that was acquired by Experian in 2014. HD Decisions brings together analytical insight, rich data sources and flexible, real-time web based applications to drive value. We develop data and technology products for the financial services market specialising in pre-qualification services. Our tools allow price comparison websites and financial services providers to profile their customers and match them to the most suitable products, radically improving the value proposition for their consumers and at the same time increasing their revenue. Our goal is to create value for our clients and their customers and our success is proven we grew by over 40 last year. This role will have a focus on developing the significant opportunity we see in the Auto Finance sector as well as developing opportunities across new sectors for our pre-qualification capabilities that have become the norm in credit cards and loans. Our industry insight tells us that the Auto Finance sector is prime for digitisation with appetite from dealerships, lenders, aggregators and consumers to improve the buying process and we expect HD will be central to this. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the team and help us create a better tomorrow Key Responsibilities: Ownership and development of senior client relationships across the financial services and Price Comparison sectors with focus given to developing our new Auto Finance proposition. Engage Auto Finance lenders and Price Comparison organisations, establish the value proposition and ROI with the goal of gaining their participation. Achieve revenue budgets by leading our commercial engagement with clients and prospects including Go-To-Market strategy, compelling proposals, pricing strategy, contracting, account management. Contribute significantly towards HD Decisions strategic roadmap Influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver against our strategic roadmap Leveraging expertise within the price comparison markets to explore new concepts with potential or existing partners. Conduct client business reviews, providing market and product expertise Essential Strong commercial awareness and aptitude Prior experience in a highly consultative, business development focussed role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven track record building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Minimum 2:1 university degree Organised and with excellent attention to detail The agility to respond in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional demeanour under pressure What we offer Here at Experian, we believe that great work deserves great rewards.
