Advertising & Media Manager
Were looking for a creative, media savvy and results focused marketer to join Capital Ones UK Brand Marketing Team. Reporting to the Brand Director, youll lead your talented team to bring the Capital One brand promise to life working with award-winning agency partners and internal teams alike to develop and deliver the brand creative and media strategy that will supercharge the Capital One brand and our unique products that help people succeed with credit.
What youll do
Work with the Brand Director and Brand team to develop the overall brand strategy evolving and maintaining the brand purpose, architecture and positioning
Take responsibility for all mass media advertising to drive awareness of the brand, leveraging our innovative products and services to grow consideration
Define both media and creative strategy for all advertising and manage end-to-end campaign process from agency briefing to campaign analysis
Manage stakeholders and ensure buy in to the brand and advertising strategy
Manage £10M marketing budget, effectively allocating agreed budget by channel and constantly seeking to optimise spend to successfully deliver brand objectives
Ensuring consistent image and tone of voice across all customer touch points
Work in partnership with the insights team to ensure effective and robust means of tracking brand health and measuring advertising campaigns
Own the process used to deliver our brand communications to market, mitigating risk and ensuring legal compliance
Manage the relationships with our award winning third party agencies
Manage and develop your team to support the delivery of the brand plan
We expect to see
Experience of leading brand and advertising strategy. Wed love for you to have developed your skills within the FMCG sector and its even better if youve already gained cross-industry experience.
Experience in managing multi-million-pound media budgets
Experience managing agency relationships - both creative and media
Line management experience - coaching/developing a team
Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas and offer unique solutions to challenges, both verbally and visually
Effective stakeholder management enabling buy in from senior leaders
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for insights to shape our approach combined with creative flair
Experience of successful cross functional working - building strong relationships both internally and externally
Extensive, demonstrable experience building successful consumer brands
