The Transformation and Programme Management Team exists to ensure that our Global Brands organisation successfully transforms the way it operates in order to achieve the goals set within our vision. Successful transformation will involve a coordinated set of programmes and change activity across multiple areas. Ensuring that the operating model, processes and systems are aligned and fit for purpose, our people have the right capability to perform in their roles, and the organization and its culture foster a continuous improvement mindset is key. In this role you will lead the development and implementation of the Lean strategy for Global Brands. Develop, influence, shape and embed an enterprise wide lean culture to drive transformation change. You will work with numerous cross-functional groups including technical, finance, commercial, supply chain, sourcing and the regional business improvement teams based in HK and USA. This role leverages strong leadership and communication skills to influence various business units at all levels of management. Your Responsibilities Across Global Brands Working with key stakeholders from across the business, you will develop and deploy a Lean strategy and plan for Global Brands, ensuring that: Transformation of business processes is underpinned by lean principles to design out waste. Lean Product Design and best practice supply chain solutions are incorporated into our operating models and business processes. You will be a custodian for the governance and integrity of all business improvement initiatives ensuring sound, objective and validated practices are followed. You will build and manage a team of Lean experts/managers to lead high profile initiatives Within European Sourcing You will lead workshops/kaizen events to bring together cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within our products, suppliers and processes and achieve targeted performance improvement in a compressed timeframe. Lead all Product and Packaging optimisation related projects, owning the process from beginning to end: Working with teams to establish a robust understanding of fitness for purpose to ensure that products and supporting processes are not over-engineered. Drives a culture of customer focus, data-driven decision-making, ownership of processes and operational metrics and continuous improvement. Develops, trains and supports deployment of a set of standard improvement tools & techniques. A bit about you Coming from an operations, retail or manufacturing background, you must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of leading large, complex, cross-functional improvement projects. These should be in multiple parts of the value chain using Lean and/or other business improvement methodologies. Skilled in aligning and managing multiple stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies. Transformation and Change management experience including the cultural aspects of change. Significant relationship building and influencing different levels within the business & through informal reporting lines. Manage by fact.
