This workshop is hosted by D2N2 Growth Hub in partnership with Oxford Innovation, and is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund. Description There are many myths about stress most of them are misleading at best, and dangerous at worst. What is true is that 49 of sick days lost at work are due to stress or stress-related issues. Ignoring stress and hoping it goes away is a popular approach but, in fact, this makes things much, much worse, leading to sometimes devastating and life-shortening consequences. Stress comes from a multitude of sources. We cant always change that, but we can change how we deal with it, and thus, use stress in a positive and productive way. We can then reduce, or even negate, the damaging effects of stress, and so protect and improve our health, career, family, and everything else that is important.
